Goals:

* Conduct secondary analyses of data from two longitudinal studies of families of individuals with autism and schizophrenia to identify challenges facing aging families who have an adult child with a dual diagnosis (DD and mental health) and compare them to families of individuals with a single diagnosis
* Examine the differential impact of coping and social support on well-being of families of adults with single versus dual diagnosis
* Identify special challenges faced by African American families caring for an adult with a dual diagnosis
