Goals:
* Use and evaluate a participatory action research process to:
o assess community environments & participation of people with I/DD
o study the extent people aging with I/DD are participating in home and community environments
o identify barriers and supports of participation within and across environments
o identify how existing environmental access guidelines can be improved
* Evaluate factors influencing access to & active participation in home and community environments & use of technologies
* Develop a web-based, consumer-directed, community environment assessment tool to identify best practice examples
* Inform the development of access-ready, age-friendly community environments and technologies
