Theme: Bridging between Aging and Intellectual Disabilities

A series of short papers addressing some or all of the following will help guide the Roundtable discussions:
1. Common experiences and challenges in health and aging
2. Bridging the aging and intellectual disability service systems
3. Changing profiles in family caregiving and caregiver supports
4. Redesigning long term services and supports (and/or long term care)
5. Examples of cross-system learning
6. Opportunities from collaboration

The Roundtable will be held at Simmons College,
The campus is close to Fenway Park (for baseball fans) and downtown is easily accessed using the "T", Boston's metro for $2.00.

Parking & Travel:
Simmons College can offer some discount parking at $12/day for those with cars (an absolute steal for parking in Boston). The college is readily accessible on the "T", Boston's metro. The fare is $2 one-way.
Travel from Logan Airport is also possible via the T for $2 (or taxi, for about $35-$40).
There is also train and road access on major highways and we will place related information on the Roundtable website.

In the vicinity of the conference site are several small hotels and B&Bs with costs in the $150-250 per day range
