iSHIP: Health Promotion Train-the-Trainer Interactive Distance Learning

iSHIP (Interactive Sustainable Health Initiative Program)


iShip aims to do the following:
  • assess the effectiveness of Health Promotion Program using an interactive, distance learning model for staff working in community-based agencies (CBAs) serving adults with I/DD and
  • measure the impact of the iSHIP intervention across three levels influencing reach and adoption of health promotion for people with I/DD: 1) organizational capacity; 2) client’s health status and attainment of health goals; and, 3) DSP capacity.
