The third edition of this 56-page booklet was issued in 1997.It describes activities that can be undertaken to help eligible adults with developmental disabilities make better use of Older American Act services and supports, in particular senior centers, congregate nutrition sites, and adult day services. Also covered is the use of companion programs, shared housing, and other senior housing. Developed originally under a contract from the New York State Developmental Disabilities Planning Council, this third edition was updated and printed with support from a grant from the US Administration on Aging.
